Who is responsible

This website is run by Jolan De Nef, freelance web developer, VAT BE0762592125. For anything about your data, email contact@jolandenef.dev.

What is collected

Analytics: only when you accept cookies in the cookie banner, this site uses Google Analytics 4 (loaded through Google Tag Manager) to see how it is visited: pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser. Without your consent no analytics or tracking cookies are set. You can change your choice at any time through "Cookie settings" in the footer.

Contact form: when you send a message, your name, email address, phone number (optional) and message are stored so I can reply. They are stored with Sanity, the content platform this site runs on.

Stone Face: the experience that uses your webcam processes the image entirely in your browser. No video or image is sent or stored.

Hosting: the site is hosted by Netlify, which keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and time of request) for security.

How long it is kept

Google Analytics data is kept for no longer than 14 months, the longest retention the standard version of Google Analytics allows. Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to answer and follow up on your question, and are then deleted.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. You can withdraw your consent for analytics at any time. Email contact@jolandenef.dev and I will reply within one month. If you think your data is handled wrongly, you can file a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be).
